Pursuit Intervention Tactics (PIT)
	Pursuit Intervention Tactics (PIT) - This one day course has several prerequisites:
		Participants must be licensed officers Officers must have permission from their departments Officers must have attended a course at the Minnesota Highway Safety and Resource Center within the past 5 years
	This course uses custom designed vehicles with special features to ensure the safety of the participants. This program includes approximately one and a half hours of classroom instruction and six and a half hours of behind-the-wheel training.
		PIT Maneuver: This includes in-vehicle practicing and mastering of the PIT technique to successfully remove a vehicle from the roadway when the driver refuses to stop.
		Upon completion of the course, officer will be capable of putting a vehicle where they want in on the side of the road they want
