DECISION DRIVING I  
 

The objective of this approximately three hour course is to teach driving techniques (classroom style) for the safe operation of the construction truck.  This class augments the Intro Class, and melds the behind the wheel experiences with additional tips.  The class focuses on the importance of making the “right” decisions.
 

Topics include:

  • Distracted Driving
  • Vehicle Dynamics
  • Human Dynamics
  • Following Distance
  • ABS Braking
  • Fatigue and Inattentiveness
  • Collision Avoidance

This course is recommended for: drivers, dispatchers, safety personnel, insurance carriers and management responsible for trucks and drivers.  The cost is $25 per attendee with a minimum class size of 30 people.
